Jennifer Dang

Jennifer is Omaha-born and raised and joined Inclusive Communities in February 2024. She graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with a Bachelor’s in Psychology with a Concentration in Mental Health and is working towards her Master’s in Student Affairs in Higher Education.
She first became involved in Inclusive Communities when she joined EmpowerDIVERSITY. That was when she fell in love with IC. Jennifer then became a Table Facilitator for the Omaha Table Talks and became part of Cohort 5 of LeadDIVERSITY.
Jennifer has always had a love and passion for social justice and diversity, equity, and inclusion. She was part of UNO’s DEI Committee on the Academic Advising Council and also developed the first DEIAB Learning Community at her agency.
In her free time, she loves to romanticize her life by traveling, being a self-proclaimed foodie, attending local events to support small businesses, watching true crime and “cringey” reality TV shows, thrifting, journaling, and spending more time on TikTok than she would like to admit. Jennifer’s Top 5 Gallup Strengths are Individualization, Competition, Woo, Activator, and Communication. Her favorite quote is “True belonging never asks us to change who we are, it requires us to be who we are” by Brené Brown.
